Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you submit a script we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the materials you upload (your script PDF, title, genre, budget tier, and logline). When you purchase training we collect billing details through Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We also collect standard usage analytics (pages viewed, events like “submission completed”) via PostHog.

How we use it

• To produce your coverage scorecard, including AI analysis of your script text.
• To email you transactional updates (scorecard ready, enrollment confirmations).
• To operate the referral pipeline — sharing your package with producer partners only when your script qualifies and is routed.
• To improve the product through aggregate, de-identified analytics.

Your script

Your script is stored in private, access-controlled storage. It is accessible only to you, our staff, and — if referred — the receiving producer. We do not publish your material, sell it, or use it to train public AI models. Script text is transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your coverage and is subject to their enterprise data-handling terms.

Third-party processors

We use Supabase (database, auth, storage), Anthropic (AI analysis), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data — including your uploaded scripts — at any time by emailing privacy@majorfilmstudios.com. We honor verified requests within 30 days.

Data retention

Submissions and scorecards are retained while your account or lead record is active so resubmission credits and referral history keep working. Deleted data is removed from production systems promptly and from backups on a rolling basis.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced by email to active users.
