Lookbook
A lookbook shows what a film will feel like: its tone, visual language, color palette, locations, and character energy, told through curated reference images and brief captions. Where a pitch deck makes the business case, a lookbook makes the experiential one.
Good lookbooks are short and consistent — ten to twenty images that clearly belong to one film — and include a tone statement and a few key moments connecting visuals to story.
See how to build a lookbook for structure and common mistakes. Lookbooks are often packaged alongside a one-sheet and deck when packaging a project.
